Adult Ministries

The Women’s Group of the parish meets for fellowship, formation, and fun. Activities include retreats, monthly Dutch-treat lunches, monthly Bunco, and occasional outings and service activities for the community. All are welcome.

We build relationships among the women of our parish by offering a range of activities that focus on developing friendships and encouraging women to participate in the spiritual, charitable, and service opportunities that exist here at Saint Andrew and in the surrounding community.

When you want God’s help, you pray. You pray for the healing of mind, body, heart, and soul. You pray for yourself and you pray for others. Most of the time you pray alone and in silence. Please know that you do not have to pray alone…

Who will pray with me and where do I go?

Members of the parish serving in the Healing Prayer Ministry (HPM) are always willing to pray with you. We gather in the Chapel, which is a sacred place, always blessed with the presence of Jesus.

When can I find Healing Prayer Ministers?

Every week you can come to the Chapel after Mass (5:15 PM Saturday, 8:30 and 11:00 AM on Sunday).

What will happen when I come to the Chapel?

You will meet a few members of the HPM who will make you feel welcome. You may have a specific request or would like us to just pray with you. Anything you share is held in the strictest confidence. One or more members will then pray aloud, lifting up your petitions and asking Jesus for healing. We do not offer advice or counseling, just prayer.

Can I bring someone with me?

You can bring anyone. Family, friends, children. Any age. Any faith tradition.

What is the purpose of the Healing Prayer Ministry?

Members of the HPM are there to listen, love, and pray with the help of the Holy Spirit, asking Our Lord on your behalf for His compassionate care and mercy. Christ invites all who are burdened to come to Him. You can stand on His promise that He will never leave or forsake us.
